High Picture Quality
High brightness of 6, 500 lm in a 1-chip DLP
A new heat-resistant material is used in the phosphor source. Combined with a drive system that is also optimized for the light source, this made it possible to achieve the world’s first 6, 500 lm of brightness in a 1-chip DLP projector.
Remarkable 10, 000:1 contrast ratio
The PT-RW630 projector directly controls the output of the laser light source itself, enabling faster response than lamp-based projectors. Frame-by-frame scene-linking modulation with complete digital control makes it possible to adjust the light output with higher precision. This gives the PT-RW630 a remarkable 10, 000:1 contrast without lowering brightness.
Dynamic light control technology
Dynamic light control technology enables highly precise contrast control even when bright and dark suddenly or frequently interchange. There is also almost no reduction in contrast when the projector is used for extended periods of time.
Advanced Technologies for excellent image quality
Detailed clarity processor 3 gives natural clarity to even the finest detailed and the system Daylight view 2 delivers enhanced color perception. The PT-RW630 has a host of other advanced technologies including: Rec. 709 mode for HDTV projections, Waveform monitor function, 3D color management system, Full 10-bit image processing, Progressive cinema scan (3:2 pulldown), Dynamic sharpness control and digital noise reduction.
Long-lasting reliability
Dual drive laser optical engine for reliable 24/7 operation
It is almost impossible to imagine that a laser light source would suddenly go blank. The PT-RW630 uses two sets of light sources that group laser diodes into a number of modules. Based on redundant design, the laser diodes are put to considerable use, so over the long term, if a laser diode were to stop functioning, a protective circuit would activate to keep the brightness drop extremely small.
Powerful cooling system maintains stable operation from 0deg.C to 45deg.C
The PT-RW630 employs newly developed cooling systems for the laser light source and DLP chip to suppress temperature rises inside the projector, allowing stable operation up to an ambient temperature of 45deg.C (113deg.F). The use of these cooling systems also achieves quiet operation of 35 dB, enabling viewers to concentrate on the projected content.
Solid Shine Lamp-free technology
Solid shine lamp-free technology provides solid reliability and long-lasting brightness with approximately 20, 000 hours of maintenance-free operation. There is no need to replace a lamp or air filter, providing a dramatic reduction in the total cost of ownership (TCO).
Long-lasting image quality featuring constant brightness modes
The rate of brightness deterioration in the laser source is extremely slow compared to lamp-based projectors. Built-in brightness and color sensors eliminate fluctuations in brightness and color to constantly maintain the optimal balance.
Installation flexibility
Multi-screen support system connects multiple screens
The Multi-Screen Support System optimally adjusts multiple screens. The edges of adjacent screens can be blended and their luminance controlled through edge blending. The color matching function corrects slight variations in the color reproduction range of individual projectors. The PT-RW630 features a digital zoom that allows images to be enlarged up to 10 times (horizontally and vertically).
Flexible installation assures convenient use
The wide adjustment range of the powered horizontal/vertical lens shift function assures convenience and versatility during installation. It lets you easily make adjustments with the remote control.
Omnidirectional installation capability
With the PT-RW630, projection is possible in any direction vertically and horizontally and the unit can be rotated 360 degrees for installation at any angle.
Multi-unit brightness control
For critical control rooms projection mapping, this function automatically corrects the brightness fluctuations that occur over time in the individual projectors of a multi-screen system. Up to eight projectors can be controlled by connecting to each other via a hub and this can be increased to a maximum of 2, 048 projectors by using Multi Projector Monitoring & Control Software.
Professional system integration
Digital link The single cable solution
Digital link is an original function added to HDBaseT technology. Equipped with a digital link terminal, the PT-RW630 allows transmission of HDMI, uncompressed HD digital video and control signals (Ethernet, RS-232C) for up to 100 meters (328 feet) through a single CAT5e (STP) cable or higher.
Easy remote monitoring and control over a LAN
Web browser on a computer connected through a wired LAN system lets you remotely operate projectors and check their status. An e-mail messaging function can also notify you when a lamp needs replacement and indicate the overall projector status.
Multiple terminals with HD-SDI compatibility
The PT-RW630 has multiple terminals, including DVI-D and HDMI terminals. It also features an SDI (SD-, HD- and 3G-SDI) input terminal.
Art-Net compatible
The PT-RW630 projector is compatible with the Art-Net protocol for lighting management. Art-Net compatibility lets you connect the projector to the lighting consol and operate functions such as shutter on/off, input change, power on/off, etc, together with the light control.
